Taylor 414ce Grand Auditorium Left-Handed

The Taylor 400 series allows players to enjoy solid African ovangkol's

responsive, rosewood-like tone, which pairs beautifully with Sitka spruce and

will satisfy a wide range of players. Each instrument comes standard with a

three-ring rosette, a tortoise pickguard and white binding that applies a crisp

complement against the mottled brown hues of ovangkol. New for 2015, all of

the Taylor 400 series instruments now feature a beautiful full-gloss body finish,

Italian acrylic dot fingerboard inlays, and Taylor's premium Expression System 2

electronics for peerless plugged-in performance.

A spruce top, ovangkol back & sides, and Taylor's all-purpose Grand Auditorium

body are the key ingredients that make this 414ce suitable for players of all

genres and styles. It delivers exceptional tonal balance with a beautiful top-end

chime and a full-bodied midrange and low-end. Amazing projection and volume

are provided by forward shifted  bracing with Taylor's tone-enhancing relief rout.

A smooth Venetian cutaway provides unrestricted access to the upper frets

while offering a modern aesthetic touch. The tropical mahogany neck is shaped

into a superbly comfortable profile and carries an ebony fretboard with 20 frets.

Whether you're recording in the studio, playing a small coffee shop gig, or

playing on stage in a mix with other instruments, the onboard Taylor Expression

System 2 electronics will faithfully convey the 414ce's natural acoustic voice

through any acoustic amp or PA system.
